The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for the Village of Justice is now accepting applications for the position of:
Entry Level Police Officers
Testing is being conducted for immediate multiple new hires and to establish an Eligibility List for anticipated future hiring needs

Salary: $58,314 – $90,265
Job Requirements:
You must meet the minimum requirements:

Citizenship: Must be U.S. Citizen.

Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License at the time of application and at the time of hire.

Age Requirements: Applicants must have attained their 21st birthday by the last date for filing applications (4/5/23). Applicants must be under the age of 35 on 4/5/23 AND when the Final Eligibility Register is posted unless they have been certified and employed as a Full-Time Police Officer in a regularly constituted police department for a municipality in the United States or are otherwise exempt by State Statute 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6.

Education: Must have proof of High School Diploma, GED Certificate or High School Proficiency Statement.

Testing: Must be able to successfully complete all phases of testing
NOTE: A P.O.W.E.R. Card is not required to apply, but must possess a valid P.O.W.E.R. card, from a certified testing agency, at conditional offer of employment.
