The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners for the Village of University Park are now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer
Testing is being conducted for immediate hires and anticipated future hiring needs

Starting Salary: $52,139.67
Job Requirements:
You must meet the minimum requirements:

Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen

Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Driver’s License at the time of application and upon time of hire.

Age Requirement: Applicants must have attained their 21st birthday at the last date for filing applications (8/10/22). Applicants must be under the age 35 years old at the last date of filing applications (8/10/22) and at such time as the Final Eligibility is posted, unless they have been certified and employed as a full-time police officer in a municipality in the United States, or otherwise exempt by State Statute 65 IL 5/10-2.1-6.

Education: Must have proof of High School Diploma, GED Certificate or High School Proficiency Statement.

Residence: Must reside within a (30) mile radius of the University Park Village Hall within one year of your employment date.

Testing: Must be able to successfully complete all phases of testing.
Note: There will not be a physical exam conducted on the day of testing and the community is not requiring applicants to possess a valid P.O.W.E.R. Card at the time of testing. Physical Fitness Testing may be established at a future date.
